Porting the stock S/C

I recently found a shop that can port my supercharger but i dont know a whole lot about it...are there any supporting mods that need to be done first and how much better performance would i get out of just porting the sc?

From what I heard from Eaton themselves, do not port it too much. Maybe 1/8" on each side. That is what I was told. Others may disagree but that is from the horses mouth.

personally i wouldnt pay a shop to do it..
from what ive seen theres not much of a gain. otherwise all the vendors would have porting options.. now the M90 is a whole diff story tho.

There are gains from porting the s/c, you might not get a set hp gain but you will see less restriction which will help you air temps/flow. In other words you will be making your supercharger more efficient. Be sure its a proper port job.
