ok think of turnin the sc completly sideways. so the exit points directly into the head.
like jon said the sc gets shoved into the radiator further..
with this intake manifold it might get rid of most of our heat issue on the m62 and creat better air flow..
horse power is made with air flow over boost pressure

The manifold flange looks very Ecotec-ish. :-)

But as I looked into such options many times myself, I think our oilfilter needs to be removed/relocated before you could fit this thing.

VERY interesting to see what it brings for the TVS!!!

I know of a European 2.2 Ecotec (l61) who had made something similar with an older M90 charger:

You can just see the oil filter that he had to work around. This ZZP option for sure needs the filter relocated. (= major surgery)

Well in another thread they confirmed it wasnt for the 3800 which most of you all had surmised. So hopefully they give us a few more details.

its more the angle than anything, going straight through would be much more effective

Once you flow enough it will become a restriction and won't cool that good anymore.

@MrBel; the average Joe will consider flexing and alu welding to the crank case some Major modding. As I see it here it will most likely not be a simple bolt-on manifold.

Edit; An SC exits the air under an (60*?) angle, so not so sure on the even air distribution in this one. Will need attention! But a nice project to watch!
