hey guys, so i ordered the kit and Im going to attempt to do the install myself. Everything seems pretty easy except for the removal/installation of the sc pulley.

Does anyone know if this type of puller will work?:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0014WH9SY?...reative=373501

Its the OEM 27031 pulley puller/ installer kit. I can rent that one from pep boys as opposed to buying one, thanks.

Pullies as small as a 2.9" have had slipping issues when using just the stage 2 belt. Just sayin'

Congrats on the stage kit, hopefully you were smart and went with the 2.8 since your zzp s3 will provide the iat2 temps you need for running that pulley.

Oh yeah dont forget to get a custom tune by BYT. If you got a canned tuned just wait and see.

Really? I haven't had any issues with this. Are you sure your tensioner was working properly?

Yeah I went with the oversized tensioner pulley and a 2.8. Ill have the zzp tune for now until I can afford a real one.....but has anyone else used the puller I mentioned above? or used something else to change the sc pulley?

I recommend 50# injectors for ALL M62 builds. Easier to program, better idle, less money, no new harness required.

Mine went 21 on the crap stock boost gauge. Best I remember we logged at 21 psi as well. It's been awhile. Lol. I've since went turbo so I cant really remember.
