5. Guage holder for the center air vent.
5. White faced guages.

wow that's a bunch of stuff that would never be considered.... should've mentioned something more realistic

and why does everyone keep saying the stage kits have been delayed.. they have said the 1st quarter of 2006, which is up to april... some people might've got some bad info at sema... but i don't think it's ever been delayed, and these are nothing more than rumors just like what have been going around for 6 months now.

the stage kits will be out by april.. just as they said

just curious.. but how did you come about with the opportunity to meet with this group of people at the top of the food chain?

No Surprise there... We never get answers around here... And Still... The wait and suspense prolong. Oh well. I' waiting got my W2 still so i can afford the stage kits whenever they do happen to come out. Thanks for the info on stage 3 bdwarr6. I was hoping the tranny was not the weak spot in the system, and only the clutch... We'll have to wait and see.

Oh yea there is a Ion redline with stage 2 kit sitting in their parking lot.....
Yet stage 2 is delayed 2-3 more months........

This just goes to show you, companies like GM have just gotten too large for their own good. Too much beauracracy, and red tape just to simply get a product out for sale. It is obviously finished, yet we all have to wait an extra 2 or 3 months now.........

This is a microcosim as to why this company is doing so poorly.

bdwarr6: is there any confirmation that Stage 1 and 2 consist of the same reflash? and are you saying that JUST Stage 2 is delayed and Stage 1 should be available soon or both kit's are delayed?

Not true. On the SRT forums there is a thread where the SRT engineers answered questions from posters for a few hours, and they themselves said the wing was PURELY cosmetic.

anything about the wing on any front wheel drive car...... the only time the wing would be functional, was if it was a rear wheel drive, kinda why porsche makes theirs speed sensitive and what not, the wing looks good, however i think they should have made it a little higher, as it is right in the center of the rear view, i have seen a wrx with spacers lifting the wing up, however it was not an sti, i think we need something to that extent as well, i love the design of it, however it is in the way of seeing if there are any cops behind you......

Hmm me too. If the reflash for stage 1 is the same as stage 2 such as everyone is saying, and if stage 1 comes out earlier than stage 2, i'm going to screw stage 2. I'll go with the stage 1, buy my own fuel injectors and supercharger belt, and I already have my pulley.

it is a totally different wing, theirs is just a line basically from the front with no angle it would only help through turns if anything.

GM said the wing funtions but only add 1 pound of pressure on the car compared to without the wing.

i really don't care whne the kits come out if there is no price on them, whats the point to wait 2-3 months and have to pay 1500 buck that would be a waste.

or he may not know anyone is what i'm thinking... because all the way back from december the one person i know that can barely get a sliver of information said they were releasing them before spring, and MIGHT be releasing the intakes if they are still planning on doing them, around the same time

I only got about 5 minutes to talk to them so I missed alot of questions I know, my sister and I spent about 30 minutes trying to find them and she had to head to another meeting so I only got about 5 minutes to speak to them. I got this opportunity because my sister is a GM engineer. I cant say whether or not the stage 1 and 2 reflash are the same. And so you guys know the GM performance guys do read cobalt ss, and my list of stuff I gave them was realistic if you have any clue what a gm engineer has to put a product through to release its crazy.

The only thing that really pisses me off about GM in this whole thing is the fact that we have to wait last minute for the pricing. GM would sell more of these kits if they released pricing so people have money to set aside just waiting to purchase these kits. If I don't have a final price in a month I'm going with the Intense kit.
