I think it comes with closer to 3.1" pulley. I am playing with the idea of moving to the stage 3 pulley myself, which is right at 3.0"
Everything I have heard says that 2.9 should be safe, but monitoring gauges would be a good idea. Definitely if you go down to a 2.8" (in this case, new injectors would be in order)

is the stage 3 pully only 3"? GM realy needs to step up, i mean if your gona void you warranty, why not make it worth it. So dose anyone have the part number for the 3" pully from the stage 3 kit? and will it fit the stage 2 hub, im guessing it will but i just thought id ask

I was wondering what the power difference is. I've done soem research and it seems most of the power from the stage two kit, on the dyno atleast seems to be made because of the 7k redline. I'm just looking for the best bang for the buck that'll keep my warranty intact. I also don't want to spend to much because once the warranty is up i'm planning a blower swap. Thanks.
When you read the tune, it is actually leaned out, not rich by any means.

but would a 3.0" pully on stage 2 help or hurt the car?

I dont have any idea how a stage two would be without an exhaust, but my guess is it would kick some serious ass anyways.
Stage 2 is totally worth it, the warranty safety net is nice, plus I still net around 22-27mpg (depending on how fast I drive, and hwy/city)

If you can smell raw fuel then it is not a good reflash, I would take it back in to have it redone. More than likely the injector flow rate was not calculated properly. There was an updated reflash released in the last couple months.

cool i think im gona put the stage 2 on and try with the stage 2 pully and then with the stage 3. also i think if i put on the 3.0" pully im gona go with the dual pass just to reduce the IATs.
im gona price out everything this week and see if my tax return will cover it all
