Predictions for the ZZP Twincharge Cobalt?

A month or so ago, I posted about a silver 2006 SS/SC that we picked up for Ryan. It was hit in the front, but not too bad. The plan is to build a fast street car. We got it fixed up and started working on a cage for it. He will be running the ZZP twincharge kit, ZZP race exhaust, ZZP clutch, etc...

From a previous conversation that was a bit off-topic:

First off, no one is going to get upset about you challenging us to run some times. You are correct that we have not run any of our Cobalts at the track yet. We didn't have it in the budget last year, but we will be out in full force this year. We did dyno over 450whp with our first twincharge setup, and it would have been much higher with a good clutch. I'm expecting 500whp before we hit the track this spring. Of course he will start at a much lower boost level while he gets the launch down and tries not to leave the trans in pieces.

So my question is- What HP and ET/MPH does everyone else expect? Who's excited to see our twincharge setup running down the track? Who still thinks we are full of crap and won't back anything up? Feel free to speak your minds!

With or without DRs or slicks....

Good driver or bad driver...

I've seen 1000hp Lambo's barely make 11's due to shitty driving.... but if you can't get mid to low 12's you're doing something wrong!

considering some SS/TC's are going 12's with bare minimun bolt ons and a tune i would expect to see the twincharge setup run high 11's at least i have been follwing the kit u guys have and im fond of it the powers there but i need to see strip times. If cobalts with around 300whp are doing 12's id expect more than that from you cars with the power level your at

I would like to see low 12's to 11s. And so far I am a fan of the twincharge and looking forward to seeing more of it.

I'm not sure what tires he will start with, but I'm sure slicks will be in the cars future.

He's a very good driver. Most of his racing experience is in AWD DSMs, but he quickly put down some low 10s in a FWD Impala we built last year. IIRC, his first pass was a 10.24 which was the fastest time that car ever ran at that time. I also watched him hop in another DSM that he had never drove before and cut 1/2 second off what the car was running in one pass.

idk, i have the feeling ***** gonna start breaking around the low 12 mark. especially w/ drag radials. and 11's has anyone even gotten there?

you guys are definetly going to pioneer the field in hp limits for the ss/sc

without drag radials your gonna be running high 12's

Seriously though 12.3 @ 121. FWD just wont get it right, if slicks areo n the car I forsee broken **** in the future. How much torque did the car make btw?

The people in here saying 11's easy have obviously never been to the track. When you put more then 2XX whp down in a fwd car it is just going to be boring and spinny.
My buddies SRT ran 12.0 @ 125 with DR's on the car, thats what happens when a FWD car has 460 wtq rofl.
