I personally know of a Cobalt SS/SC who did a 1.9 60' on the stock Pirelli's!

I think we will get to 11s on street tires, but 10s will require slicks.

Hey I got an Idea!!! Lets start a thread, guess the best time, slicks or street tires and whoever wins gets a prize from ZZP! Times have to be to the hundredth of a second???? First come first served for times...

We should be able to do something like this. We'll get it going when we are closer to hitting the track with this car.

Basically something like this- http://www.clubgp.com/newforum/tm.as...de=&s=#3405154

500 whp + fwd. I will guess 13.5 at 125mph on street tires. Traction? No way. Should run 11.5 at 125 on Slicks. If you do not see at least 120 mph traps you are definately not going to be in the 11s.

Considering they probly weigh about 1000 pounds less...

It makes a difference.

I'd like to add in a little bit of our background running FWDs at the dragstrip. ZZP had the first FWD 3800 car in the 1.6 sixty foots, 1.5 sixty foots, 1.4 sixty foots, and 1.3 sixty foots. We also ran as quick as 1.54 in Zoom's GP without wheelie bars. Heck, my wife's daily driver Monte Carlo put down high 1.5 sixty foots. Basically, what I'm saying is that we will figure out how to get the traction we need to run the times we are shooting for.

My GP, about 420whp on Toyo Proxy 225.40r18 tires ran 11.9 @ 119mph, but it was an automatic car, so that helps.
