Problem with Stage 2 pulley

Hey Guys, for all you with Stage 2, did u guys take a closer look at the pulley. Just got mine today and the pulley has a handfull of dents dings and scratches. This wasnt a huge concern until i found 2 such dents in the track of the pulley. How bad will this effect the belt? 14000 rpm is no laughing matter when something small is out of wack. Let me know what you guys think or any insight would help.

Ultimately it's GM and I will either have them replace it before install unless I can be assured that this will not cause problems in the future. Either way everything is under warrenty but It would suck to have the belt snap when the cars under load or anytime for that matter.

I'll post some pics later on today

**** that. Go back to the dealer and get a new one. You didn't pay for something that wasn't perfect.

SO I freaked out about the pulley talked to a friend of mine whos a machinist and showed him the pulley and he said it's not bad at all. Explained that u could file away the extra and the touch it up so............

BEFORE

AFTER

You can still slightly notice where the damage is. Talked to my dealer and the dealer where I got my kit and they both agreed that the pulley is usable shouldn't cause problems and if anything happens they'll just claim it under warrenty.

mine had the exact same problem. looks the same too. I do not think that it took the pulley out of ballance. mine work fine. No problems as of yet.
