Problems With Stage 2 Upgrade Installed?

ok my friend just got his car back today had the dealer put on his stage 2 but slipped in the 2.8 pulley haha and they installed it...ok well hes pushing 17 lbs of boost which i thought was amazing

to the problem part...we ran 2 cobalts tonite ok first one was on RTE 37 and we just hittin it on the highway...well we had 4 people including the driver this other guy was alone he had silver ss/sc and basically my buddy didnt pull at all..ok this guy said all he had done was the k&n intake and it doesnt seem rite because 500lbs of people with a stage 2 with a 2.8 pulley and a stock ss/sc and the stage 2 didnt pull??????

WEIRD? he had to of had stage 2

ok and with the second cobalt they dropped it down to 2nd gear from a 40 mph roll my buddy whos name on here is cliffsiderider or however u spell it pulley slowly to about a car and this happened about 3 times and it was done

So anyone know if there is something wrong??

I think stage 2 is defiently worth it along with an intake. Extra people defiently would slow you down, especially 500lbs worth. That would translate to roughly a half a second at the track.

And that half a second is about all stage 2 w/ 2.8" does. And 4 people at 500 lbs... those are some light ass people.

ill put it this way...when i raced my friends srt-4 with just me and him in our cars, he only had 1 car on me thats it and i was stock. then i had someone in my car and he kept pulling away from. I was like WTF! but i definetly can feel a difference in fastness when i drive alone.

Theory..

cobalt +1 driver = 3000......cobalt +4 people = 3500... so 3000 compared to 3500 is roughly 14% more weight.

stock cobalt = 205 HP...stage 2 advertised is 240 HP or 14% more power.
