Props to BlackBaltSW

So im pretty new to the upgrading my balt, and he helped me out big time, I got a tune from him and we then switched my car over to e85. Re-tuned for e85 and my car is friggen amazing. He showed me all the stats of my car as we were driving/logging, trims, timing, knock etc, he didnt just say my **** was perfect and leave it at that. Everything was explained. If anyone is looking for a HP tuner in the chicago-land area i definately reccomend him, he took the time to do it right and im very happy!

BTW Id be more than happy to give anyone a spin in my balt who is intrested in a tune by him, so you get an idea of how ur balt will run. Ive also seen first hand, him fixing a shitty tune.

2.8, header, vibrant exhaust, 1 step colder plugs, zzp dp, 80s, and his tune. My car started with a gm stage 2. H/E is going in soon and dual pass as well

Doing it right would of been tuning you with hpt pro not standard, to begin with, no wide band to dail in maf or to help with ve. I'll say you got bigger ***** than I if you tuned with out a wide bandand hpt pro, with out that you car is maybe dailed into bout 65% maybe 70% of it's full potential. Well least you won't see knock on e85 so you won't blow your **** up, best of luck

It reads the air to fuel ratio. Without it you can not properly tune a car, let alone on e85. You can get away with tuning without a wideband, but NOT on e85. That is WAY WAY to dangerous.

yeah we had my car was partially tuned until my wideband was installed, which was fine for me cause my car isnt an everyday driving car. Without the wideband we did basic **** such as idle and stuff, once the wideband was installed we spent alot more time dialing it in.

Yeah I can also vouch for BlackBalt he retuned me and can literally feel a difference and smoothest Idle I've ever seen on 60's. An actual tune that someone spent time on and uses the VE tables along with the MAF not just the MAF.

xnigelx - Good to hear about the whole wideband thing, I didn't see it in the mods you were talking about above and was just hoping to god you had one. Glad the car turned out well. E85 is simply amazing isn't it? Do you know how much timing you are running by any chance?
