so i just got my stage 2 on. im runing a 2.8 intense pulley and hub. i just check everything to make sure everything was nice and snug. i went to check my bolts on my pulley and they were so loose. am i suppose to use a thread lock or something so they dont become loose agin?

Last but not least are you torqueing them down to spec?

 

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the pulley bolts don't have a tq spec. I'm guessing anything over a few ft/lbs would strip something. >_>

But yea, use some loctite - just be sure to use the low strength one (I think it's blue) in case you ever need to remove the pulley.

 

Blue is what I use and never had one come loose till I took it off.

 

ya blue is good, red is a little extreme, thats heat and handtools

 

15 ft/lbs. that is the spec on the bolts.
