Hey guys can anyone educate me on the different pulley sizes and fuel injectors? I want to learn more but I'm having trouble weeding through the information...

I believe the GMP Stage 2 is 3"...and I've seen others out there for 2.6" and so on...along with 60lbs injectors. So my question is what's the difference and how do they function?

stock... can get away with a 3" pulley with stock redline
42 lb's 3- 2.85 with @ 7000 rpm redline
60lb 2.5-2.8 fine all the way up to 7400 (I haven't tested past that yet)

 

So the smaller the pulley, the more lbs you can go? What other modifications do you need other than fuel injectors when you start getting higher like you mentioned, up to 60lbs?

 

well tuning for one... once you get below a 2.8 though I really stress the need for other supporting modsL
for example.. intake, catback, DP, header, Dual pass, front mount H/E , methanol injection.. for the smaller pullies...

 

Those extra mods void the warranty don't they?

 

anything smaller then the stage 2 could void it.

 

without a shadow of a doubt they do void it...but go for broke

 

Putting on an after market exhaust, header, and down pipe [bolt ons]...that voids the warranty as well? I was always under the impression "bolt ons" don't void the warranty

 

ive had my car in for service 4 times, i have a cai and a 3 inch catback, they didnt care about it.

 

Ok cool...and yikes, 4 times already? What was wrong?

 

my moon roof quit working, then i had my stearing wheel controlls replaced, then i took it in because some of the paint on the interior was flaking, then the bracket on the top of the trans that holds all the lincages snapped off
