Pulley and hub

I have a question or two about this above topic. for instance if you buy a pulley upgrade you will need a new hub. Do certain pulleys only fit certain hubs? Who sells the best bang for buck hub and pulley system? also when do you determine you need to get a smaller belt or an adjustable tensioner? I plan on running a 2.7 or 2.8 with supporting mods. Im not new to the car scene just new to superchargers thanks in advance.

yes certon pully's only fit serton hub's( you should buy them as a package if possable)
i use smoothflow pully's
You need a tensinor or belt ... well when ur belt starts slipping lol
i would get the 2.7 ... little more t/q than the 2.8 but its all ur choice( and with eatehr 1 ur gona need a bigger tensinor pully or smaller belt, or adjustable tensnor..( belt / tensnor pully are the cheapest and usualy how everyone does it.

Also lol... when u drop pullys( since new to the s/c sceen) you are going to have to get more colling modifications.. you can look this up on search but ile list them.... Dual pass, opt b, Stu mod, H/E, Bigger injectors( 60's are highly recomended for that pully size), Meth/Alky injection, ported S/C, Ported Intake manifold.. i am sure there is something i am missing but just a quick list.

You SHOULD be... I had NO slip with a stock belt on 2.8 pulley... So, that just goes to show...

With the stock belt, yes.

Stage 2 belt should hold the 2.7... easily...

the belt has to go around all the pulleys. I never put one on but i could imagine it being a pain. Taking the sc off might be easier to get it on the other pulleys but you gonna have to pujt it back on to get it on the pulley

if the belt is loose I dont see what would be so hard about running the belt unless its a really snug fit or its really hard to get to all the pulleys i dont have my car infront of me at the moment so I havent had time to see what it would involve because its in the shop getting some body work.
