Pulley Install Question.

Well after going through some hell to try and get my GMS2 bolts off, I gave up and said **** it, we're trying something new. My brother and I bought a compressor to use an impact wrench, however we stripped the **** out of two of the bolts...so what i'm thinking of doing is dremeling out the ends and taking the bolts out...onto my problem...

The only thing I need to do for this to work is take the blower off...Now neither my brother nor i have ever done it so my question is, is there anyhting taht can go seriously wrong when taking it off? I mean, I know there's only like 6 connectors and a couple bolts...but could I get some advice from someone who's done it?

Haha I know that...we were planning on covering it with a piece of paper so nothing flys into it while we're working on the pulley

i'm having a tough time getting them out too--even tried a strap wrench--no luck so am going to have to get a dremel or take it to dealer, but i think dremel would be cheaper (but I have some warranty work for them to do also--my passenger side mirror cover broke on my visor).

just be careful of the blower shaft.. make sure you dont put a **** ton of resistance on it.. other then that.. your good to go..

as far as the pully bolts go.. i did not torque mine to specs.. i just made them snug.. i saw the problems everybody is running into with them so i just tighten them until the belt line moves.. been holding fine for 10k+ now

Awesome, thanks. so for the bolts, just tighten them down enough so they're snug?

yea... i just tightened until the belt line moved... which means thats plenty of resistance, which is no where near torque specs
