pulley power drain
pulley power drain
a few people told me not to get a different pulley because it will take away a lot of power from the cars accessories. first is it true and if i is how much. and second do you think its a good mod that i should look into getting?
Um...I'm going to say no, I don't have any power issues with my car and I have 2.9 (or 2.8) and gauges.
the people telling you that dont realise what pully you are talking about.
they are thinking of underdrive pullys, which lowers the drag per rotation by your accessories, to free up horsepower, but yes, it does reduce the output of the accessories.
when changing a supercharger pully, this is a completely different modification,
and will have no significant effect on your accessories whatsoever.

RooTBeeR "an intake is always cheap and easy, but i would do cooling/supporting mods first." ........what kind of cooling mods are you talking about what can i do and where should i go.
welcome to the site, and start reading, you'll learn a ton.
like ls1fbody said, add a second H/E, a dual pass endplate(w/"option a" or "option b" kit) would help, some guys also add a water/methenol kit, and some also add N2O which will Cool down the IATs and it will also Add power.
