Do you really want to bend the snout and be in the hole for 300-400 bucks?
I'm sorry but if you make that claim I'd like to know how the heck you'd get it off? Pliers and the worlds strongest armenian?

But nate man...do you make a tensioner depresser yet? I have to check!
But spectral, just make sure they don't bend the snout when they make their executive decision...oh and make sure the hub is flush.

Be very care ful if you try!iI work for Autozone and your right we have nothing specific for that.Only 3 jaw pullers. your best bet if your gonna try Autozone is a 3jaw posilock puller.Anything else might be too sloppy

I wonder what the dealerships do to get pressed on pulleys off...probably why they bill for 5 hours of work!

Last i remember the autozones around here let you barrow any tool. you have to make a deposit for the amount of the tool and when you bring it back you get your money back. that's actually how i ended up buying my spring compressors. should be able to rent a pully puller.

the three prong generic puller we had at our shop would NOT get mine off...
But the 30 ton press machine in the transmission room did!! Thats what i recommend. Any shop that does trans or advanced engine work should have one, and will prob charge you a half hour labor. it took us 5 mins

Here is my answer to this question... It's a re-post from https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l-lsj-performance-tech-47/pulling-pulley-117893/
got mine done for free compliments of the guys at a local Advance Auto...
Here's what you do... Ask to rent the largest pulley puller they have. You can use that along with an impact wrench to spin it off. I doubt you would ever get it off with a regular wrench or socket, since it's really on there and the shaft spins... Have someone hold the blower, someone hold the pulley puller's jaws (to keep them from spinning or opening), and someone to man the impact wrench. Now be advised this pulley takes a **** ton of force before it finally comes free... To put a hub on the now bare snout, use a power steering pump pulley install tool. I believe the kit I used screwed into the M62 snout with the "Ford" stud that was included. This only will take two people as one person holds the blower and the other person cranks down on the tool with an open ended wrench to slowly push the hub on. The install tool should have a thrust bearing on it so it will not damage the snout, threads, or hub...
The guys at my local Advance Auto Parts were actually soo cool that they took me in the back and the guy used the impact wrench while my buddy and I help the blower and tool. Then I installed the hub right there, and we were ready to go and out the door in ten minutes.
My stock pulley ever soo slightly bent on the inner lip, so if its absolutely imperative that yours not get damaged, it would be wise to get a shop to press it off or use a proper pulley puller with backing plate.
But WTF, why would anyone spend $100 on a tool for a one time use???
