Without cooling mods we havent had anyone blow a motor on 2.9. I would suggest not going any lower than 2.8 if you really want to push it.

it wont lean it up.. from what i have read countless times from people on this site, it will just work the injectors harder.

i would read up on it. i am just going to put together my own kit and get it tuned with a 2.9

it only leans up the A/F ratio if the injectors go past their capacity. If you go over 100% efficiency, you will lean up the A/F ratio.

When you lean to much, the temp in the combustion chamber gets way to hot, causing melting of the internals or blowing the motor

A lot of people on here go 2.9 with a stage 2 flash, but when they are hooked up to hpt, some of them are running past the injector efficiency. I would not go smaller than a stage 2 pulley. I like to be more safe than sorry. If you do, make sure you get some cooling mods.
