smaller pulley = more boost
more boost = more hp

if you could post contact info for this guy that'd be cool.

also, did you do ANYTHING else to the car besides pully and intake? no ecu mod (piggy back, flash)? any problems with the belt slipping?

here is the guys email, not sure if he still makes them but he prolly should, pulleytech@mcleodusa.net, didnt have any problems with belt slipping, getting the blet of is a little bit of a bitch but not to hard if you have some mechanical exp. only things i had done to the car were my exhaust, 3" pulley and the custom intake, that was plenty power for me until i can changes cams and pistons. i didnt do any smaller than the 3" cuz then you would need to flash the ecu and dealers dont really want to do that. so to save money go for the 3" get an intake and exhaust and you'll be throwin down some speed hope this helps

Not sure how long your SC will last with a 2.8. It will spin much faster resulting in more wear... And possible defects. But in general it should me ok. I mean its a kick ass upgrade for the money. If your planning on keeping the car for a long time go with the 3.0 from GM.

2.8 is the what i'm going with. It should make the car boost about 18lbs which should be about 25-30 more hp. Of course with a 2.8 you're going to need fuel upgrades such as injectors, new ecu or piggy back, spark plugs.
