I would highly reccomend renting a pulley puller, or checking the classifieds here for one for sale.

Do NOT use a vice grip and bang on it, put the supercharger in a vice, or whatever the moron GM tech. said. Thats just a real good way to **** something up...

Get a pulley puller, do it right, and have no regrets or worries. Its not worth doing if you aren't going to do it right. Remember, you have to drive this thing.

^^^Exactly, you don't want to mess up the couplers and other mechanisms inside the snout of your brand new blower do you??

I still can't believe GM tells there techs to use a press, what a joke

DIY installs for life bitches

Thats what I did except with the added help of a mapp gas torch. When we installed the hub we just blasted it with the mapp gas torch then stuck in the shaft, placed a block of wood over and hit it with a hammer a few times, and it was on perfectly.
