Pulley swap

I have the gm stage 2 and i was planning on swapping the pulley. I have a book that shows the whole sc getting taken off and i was wondering if this is necessary. Can i put it on w/o taking the sc off?

thanks

you'll only have to remove the belt from the supercharger pulley to change it...that's it

it depends on if the pulley you are going to put on uses the same hub

It's actually quite simple if you've already got the stage 2 installed. Just loosen the bolts with the belt attached to keep the pulley from spinning, then remove the belt and let it rest on the supercharger snout to keep it from falling off the other pulleys. Next, remove the bolts and slide the pulley off, put the new pulley on and tighten the bolts. Finally put the belt back on and finish tightening the bolts (I suggest using the stainless steel cap screws I offer as they're much easier to work with!). The pulley and bolts are available at www.smoothflowpulleys.com/Stage2.html

Hope this helps,
Nate
