can i run the dub 2.9 pully safe? i did a search but nothing came up that would awnser that....im getting stage 2 and selling that pully that comes with it because i heard that stage 2 has a little bigger injectors than stage 1 and a diffrent power map than stage 1....dont know if it is true yet but if it is then i will get stage 2 if not ill just get stage 1 with the 2.9 pully should be nice with intake..exaust ....header...so if anyone here is runing the 2.9 pulley already your input would be great....

I would use some kind of tuning/larger injectors with a 2.9 pulley. A lot of people are going to buy the stage 1 and the larger injectors and put 2.8" pulleys on. I might be joining in with that crowd, but I might also stay with the stage 2 that has the 3" pulley.

first and foremost, its pullEy

and the stage two upgrade only comes with the pulley (at least thats what we've all heard so far)

i would wait for the kits to come out and then get a 2.8...

06 ss tends to be a bit leaner for the few last RPM's. First of all, you MUST do a dyno run along with a wideband meter to verify how exactly is your air fuel ratio at high RPM's with the stock pulley. Then you will see how small you will be able to go without blowing your engine.
