pully sizes
pully sizes
so whats the gm stage 2 pully size, i have just this past weekend looking into supercharging my 2.2. i have looked around for a bit but still haven't found it.
also, if i get a sc from on the board here and it has a stock pully on it still, can i just change the pully or does the hub need to be changed also? cause i see that zzp sells a moduler pully set up mut if i don't need to change to much, then it would be that much easier.
i'm thinking of doing the stage 2 pully, #42 injectors, an intake, dual pass, zzp aftercooler and option b as far as aftermarket parts on the intake side of thing, i already have a full exhaust so not worried there, and a tune from trifecta. any sugestions from you guys would be great, seeing as i only have about 6 hours total looking up lsj stuff.

If you wanna drop pulley sizes from the stock 3.35 that's on there, then yes you have to get the hub too. If you get the MPS from ZZP it'll have everything you need to do it besides a pulley puller. if ur gonna run 42#ers you can't really go any lower than a 2.9 as stated above. and get a custom tune, gm tunes suck lol

if the 3.35 is stock, stg 2 is "3", then whats the point of the 3.1
so i need a hub to change the pully to any size, is that what your saying?
i'm more intrested in getting it together and running then making a lot power, from what i read a stg 2 pully is on the edge of the stock rods in a 2.2 can handle, and being as the very soon to be wife dosen't know i'm thinking of spending this money then a bottem end isn't in the near future
thanks

That's what you need to buy to swap pulleys.
That sounds like way to much. They say 250 crank and the rods are done.
I'm not trying to make the fastest car on the block i just want it to be fun, i figure this is gonna be the best way to make good power and not brake the bank

If you get a SC with a stock pulley you will need to get the pulley off then put a hub on. Stage 2 pulley with 42 pound injectors should be fine. I don't know how much more you can push out of the 2.2 without upgrading the internals though.
