start from scratch. i have an 06 or 07 stage 2 map. remove all adders in terms of timing. afr adder. ect adder below 210 degree's. iat adder below 140.

leave the fuel, and the timing stock stage 2. then try it again.

something is goofy and it's most likely something simple you're overlooking

I instaled his 2.9 and 42 lbs injectors. We had decided to run the stage 2 tune. Also upon flashing the tune i have to take out a few degrees of knock. I dont know what u consider "tuning". But that falls in the catergory in my book, unless you want to get technical and tell me i was "flashing" in which case, ok, ill give that to you. But then again, you didnt really contribute to the thread So thats about as far as that convo goes.

Not entirely true. my car used to get spark blow out only in 3rd gear when i tried to lean out the tune. But in second gear the car pulled just fine. If it was mechanical, or even if it was based off the "tune" it doesnt ALWAYS have to happen in every gear.

kk... to clear things up a bit...

Every gear runs like a champ, except the top of 3rd. Once I hit 90mph in 3rd gear, roughly 6k on the tach, it begins to pulse until I shift it into 4th.

Problem solved folks

Cleaned the MAF and replaced the stock filter. It had 17,000 miles on it.

Shaun and I first put in the stock spark plugs. And were still getting the pulsing at 90+ mph in third.

Once we replaced the filter and carb cleaner on the maf, the problem was solved.

Tonight we're going out to do a final tune on the car; decided to just keep the stock sparks on.

thanks for all your help guys
