purchases in order..

Ive basically decided on the OTTP kit but when ordering it it asked what aftermarket stuff do have on the vehicle. the only thing on it right now is intake but i would like to add full exhaust as well.

if i get the stage kit before i get the exhaust will that throw the tune off on it or is exhaust not as serious of an issue?

It won't throw the tune off. Other things like an intake or tvs would though.

no you will be fine, a exhaust wont really make a new tune neccessary....get the staged kit... you will be fine upgrading to a bigger exhaust later down the road

sounds good and thanks for the help.

i think i'll go intake, OTTP stage 1( with h/e, dual pass, and option b) then exhaust.

as for those cooling mods. are all necessary for that setup im looking at or is one more necessary than the other?

what pulley size r u running, would def recommend dual pass no matter what, dual pass and a second h/e should be fine for anything as small as a 2.8...opt b is pretty useless unless ur using a flow thru set up

Well i would prolly go 2.5"downpipe and exhaust. i dont think ill be pushing enough HP to worry about 3" at that time. i was thinking about a header to. how constrictive is the stock header? which one do you prefer?

The stock header is very constrictive...i bought the 4 into 1 header from CIA, really good price and good quality...When i had my header, 3" downpipe and 3" exhaust i was making 281whp with the tvs, pushing 20psi of boost so kinda needed it. Didnt play around with the tune much so thats why i made low numbers...heres a pic of the stock header vs the cia header
