there's nothing to mess up. if you were closer i would help you put it on, but you're a good 2 hours south of me.

basically, you unbolt the 3 bolts connecting the exhaust to the downpipe. you can now take the old exhaust off. you'll have to make one cut above the rear axle, otherwise it won't fit off. you'll see exactly where. it's really that easy.

once you take off the 3 bolts and make that one cut, the whole exhaust will come right off.

now you're ready to put the new one on. just put it on the same way you took it off. the 3 bolts will connect to the same spot on the downpipe that you took them off. can't miss it. make them snug, but not tight yet. fit the other pipes on, you'll see exactly where the spots for the hangers are. everything should line up no problem.

once you have all the pieces on, just give it a good tighten. start if up, drive around for a while, and then give another good tighten. (wait till it cools if you value the skin on your hands)

that's pretty much it. there's no mechanical or car knowledge involved at all. if you are familiar with the term "righty tighty lefty loosey" you have the skill to do it yourself.

not worth paying someone to do it.

i wouldn't want any money for it. the whole point of someone helping you is so you don't have to pay for it, and can learn to do it yourself. but thanks for offering. how often are you there? i know belleville as well.

anything sharp. you can use a hacksaw, a sawzall, any kind of saw that you can get under there pretty much should work, as long as what you're using can cut metal.

I wouldn't recommend a hacksaw though. It was taking way too long when I tried a hacksaw on mine. I recommend getting a reciprocating saw. If you don't have one, buy one from an autoparts store and take it back when your done if you don't want to keep it.

yea, hacksaw is like a last resort... but it will work if you're patient...
