Question???

I have no idea what's going on, but my CEL keeps coming on and then going off. It'll come on for a couple mins, then later in my drive it'll turn off....any ideas?

Sometimes it will stay on for a day or two but then it will stay off for a day or two as well.

Everything in my car is working fine, so I'm just really confused..

Thanks!

codes dont clear out when you shut the key off. the light may go out, but the codes will still be stored in history.

There are a few things to check out if you're seeing a Check Engine Light on steady:

Is your fuel cap on tight? If it's loose or missing, this will trigger a Check Engine Light

Have you had some wet weather, resulting in having to drive through water on the road? if the electrical system gets wet, the light may go off when everything dries out.

Have you changed brands of fuel? If so, you may need to cycle through a tank's worth of fuel.

You may have already checked into these things already, but I hope it was helpful for you in some way. If none of the above fit your situation, I would recommend getting your vehicle checked out (if you go through a dealership, let me know as I'm available to you).

All the best,
Sarah

Thanks guys, I'll probably take it to Auto Zone tomorrow... another thing went wrong today as well.

When I drive, it sounds like my axle it messed up or something I have no idea it just started doing it. Idk if it's my tire or axle but it's kind of like a rattle but not really, it goes away when I get below around 15mph....I'm really getting pissed lol.

My car does this too. I'm 95% sure its something to do with my exhaust. Maybe the heat shield or something.
