Question about crank breather

I have an injen cai on my car. I noticed when puting it on that crank breather is hooked into it. My question is, does oil from the crank get into the intake? I would think it would get some what sucked into it and get the throttle body dirty. My freind has an SRT-4 with an aem an he's crank breather connects into his intake, he noticed that oil was getting into the intake and getting every thing dirty with oil.

If you look at the underside of your valve cover, there is a long duct that feeds to that breather. Not to say that its impossible, but its very improbable that oil could make it that far without you flipping the vehicle lol

If you over boost and get blow by, you will have oil in your intake. Under normal conditions there might be a little.

I am going to buy a small filter for the hose and plug up the one on the intake.

All the highly modified balts have a small air filter directly attached to the breather line.
