Question about pulley's

I'm thinking about getting the 3.00" Intense or ZZP modular pulley system for my 06 SS and I was wondering what exactly I need to go with the pulley, if anything. Intense says "*** we recommend colder spark plugs and larger fuel injectors be used with the 3.00", 2.90" and 2.80" supercharger pulley sizes". ZZP says nothing about this. Also i've been seeing lots of other people on this website with just a pulley. Is it safe just to get the pulley system or should I go for colder plugs and bigger injectors? Also my car is currently stock. I plan on getting the Injen intake and putting them both on at the sametime. Somebody please fill me in. Thanks

Depends on the dealership. Plus, they have to link the modfication to the failure (if there is one).

Geez brian, your just mr. sunshine aren't you. Did your dog die or something?

I just don't want everyone to start getting pissy when the dealer won't honor the waranty because they start swapping out major components.

I brought my car in with a 2.8" pulley, 3" catback, off road downpipe and a blown tranny and they replaced it without 1 question.

Over on the Mazda board, some local dealers started to read the posts on the forum and one member was even given a copy of his post when he was denied a claim.

Get the billetflow 3.15 in pulley. It is a modest change in size but yields 2 lbs psi. You will need no other mods to go with it. 3.00 i would definately get colder plugs and larger injectors. While you could get away with it you wouldn't be seeing the full potential of the 3 without it.

What brand or spark plugs and injectors would be best?

Same thing happened on the RL boards over a year ago. The dealers have been watching that one for a while, so people have gotten the gist(sp?) mostly of what to post and what not to post, in words and pictures. Once member was given copies of his posts where he says his clutch was slipping but it could be because he learned to drive stick on that car. Didn't turn out good for him.

and I never posted anything about my tranny mishap until it was fixed. I am out of warranty now which is why I speak about it.
