ok im new and i have a 2006 ss s/c and i was wondering if the ss s/c is aftercooled or intercooled sorry for the question but i was wondering cause when i look in front it looks like i have 3 radiators i think one is for a tranny cooler and one is for radiator but there looks like a 3rd one.

The heat exchanger is the middkle one I believe. I know there are many good post about it. I think the technical term is aftercooled. The air is being cooled down after the charge.

 

then whats the point of the intercooler in the front lower part of the grill?

 

That's the A/C condenser I believe...

we have an aftercooler.... it is a small unit the last of the three....
