i was also thinking instead of the 2.8" pulley what if i do a 3" pulley for now? how far off would the tunning be for the stage 3 kit.

No, you do not need any kind of Stage 1 or 2 from anywhere including GM to install the INTENSE kit...

Bull...The car is barely making 200ftlb below that. High load low rpm will not destroy a clutch...slipping and applying too much torque will.

I thought it was maybe the car would start bucking or misfiring or running weird...if it does none of those then its fine to hell leave it in 4th at idle and punch it to redline.

My clutch already slip on high load at low RPM's in second gear, not because I made it slip, just because of the engine torque. I was only modded with a 3" pulley when it happened. Again, stock clutch sucks ...

I have a question.

For the 3 inch idler pulley, in order to put it on, do you have to grind anything??

Then you clutch was already fubared. When we used to design them we had a 20%+ safety factor on over rev and torque capacity.

I just ordered mine from Billetflow. Not only do they have awesome quality pulleys but they pre machine the idlers so you don't have to grind a thing. Idlers are like 35 or less I think.

Can you get me a link to the correct idler pulley. For running the 2.8" pulley.

Also,
I have some questions conciring the intense kit. Say i install the kit, and have a full exhaust system (catless) and an intake. Is there any way to tweak the A/F to make it a touch richer or leaner? Also, how do you go about getting the $10 cobalt member discount?
