question on downpipe

question on downpipe

i have a question, if i have a 2.5in pipe on my catback, will a 3in downpipe fit on the 2.5in catback piping....

No.......if you have a 2.5in catback you need to get a downpipe that has a 2.5 EXIT FLANGE. Your down pipe can be 3in by the header but will taper down to 2.5 where it meets the cat back.

you CAN put a 3 inch cat back on a 2.5 downpipe but it will more then likely leak. it did on mine
