No. They put the MAF sensor on a bend, which is a NONO. It also arubs and wears through eventually because it is aluminum. Get a Stainless intake from OTTP or ZZP.

RD Fabs also makes a one-piece 3" T304 intake that everyone forgets about...

Only if it fit the 07' models .... I love that intake.

I had a RAW intake at one time, and it fit way to tight. Rubbed on my brake lines and PCM.

It's actually not all 07 models that have issues and there are actually some 06's that had issues too. It all depends on the brake lines. That intake was designed on my car and I have the low brake lines as opposed to some people who have higher brake lines.

Technically, you could "reform" the brake lines for that intake to fit, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you know what you are doing and do it right...

Agreed !!

RAW designed their intake on an 07' model with the high brake lines, and it still didn't fit right. They had you slightly bend down 2 brake lines to get it to fit. I managed to fit mine with out bending the lines, but the fit was very tight.

The RD Fabs is such a nice intake. If they ever made one to fit the vast majority of 07's I would buy it in a heart beat.

RD would redesign the intake if they could get a local "high brake line" Cobalt to mock it off of. It's just a matter of having a correctly mocked up intake that they can replicate. They need a car there so they can ensure that it still fits well into the fender liner and doesn't have hood clearance issues...
