question real quick...

i think i am going to be running a 2.9... 42lbs ...smaller belt ...and step colder plugs, i was going to have my friend tune it with his hptuners... but a little scared... is this stupid?? or is there anyone around the philly region willing to tune it for me?? i dont wanna get it dyno tuned untill i do the 2.8 meth and exhaust mods. which wont be till a little after winter. so if anyone would like to help that would be great. i buy case beer....

and by the way i have been running a 3" pulley on stock tune and inj. from zzp for last 2/3 weeks. been runnning normal... i noticed some power gains. but i baby it.... never go past 5k rpm. maybe once a week. i just wanna get the 2.9 and tune it... kinda scared of blowing my motor and or hurting it. basically just wanted to let know the people who said it would blow right away or **** like that so far its holding up.

if the guy has some knowledge on how to tune then yes. otherwise i'd look for someone with some expierience. these cars are apparently tough to tune. however if u have stg 2 that tune is safe for it. just runs a lil rich. personally im getting mine re-tuned from a member on this forum..

I've been running a 2.85" on my 42's for over 8000 miles now! Doin' just fine, my injectors were a little pissed at me when it was like 100* outside but now that it is cooling off and my cooling and exhaust mods are done it'll be just fine! I was at 100% IDC at 6950 at 100* and 98% hummididity on the dyno but not quite static!

But when we tuned the car at like 80* I was at only 90% IDC!

He's a good guy I am sure he will help you out! I am on the edge of safe. He tunes for power but doesn't sacrifice drivability he puts his name out there and makes sure you can't BLOW it up!

But yeah he has blown me away with what he has done! On our dyno day I started at 223 hp (like I said it was 100* of power robbing heat!), and took it to 241!

So 20hp in 10 minutes!
