What's going on everyone, well I sold my lnf last year to get a new mustang gt and now want to pick up a lsj as my daily. So what's the most power I can make on the stock blower and 93 octane with no meth injection, are there any other options top the tvs besides turbo swap I wanna stay with a blower. And one last note if anyone knows any lsj.in the 6k range near NJ let me no I'll be looking to buy next month
Not quite sure why I'm gonna get eaten alive, or even to what part of my post that's Referring to. But I have searched, from my understanding stock blower and no e85 or meth you can't get over 300hp to the wheels but iv seen a few for sale that claim over so I'm fact checking, as for the aftermarket blower I did look and saw a twin screw but from what I saw that's not really a thing there was just done prototypes, so I was hoping there had been a kit Made in the last year.and the for sale I looked on the classifieds, bit it's not like every cobalt for sale is on there.
Anyway the typical 2.8 & 60's with a little headwork exhuast cooling mods and real good tune should get you 270+ you could throw a 50 shot at it and get closer to 300 but you said dd and no meth so I asume n20 is out
It isn't cheap to make power on pump gas with a m62 lsj.
I'd say get some 42s, 2.8 pulley, 3" catless down pipe. Airbox mod. Toss on a NX express proton kit 50 shot.
Keep tge timming mild and let the nitrous work its magic.
A intake and header on a virtualy stock lsj is pointless.
