Questions from a noob

So I'm relatively new to the tuner scene and I haven't done a lot of mods myself. I'm looking at getting the CA stage 6 kit. With my limited experience, would it be possible to install everything myself. What's the level of difficulty we're talking here? Also on direct bolt-on catback systems, is there any welding required? Say for the Megan or ARK? Thanks and sorry, I feel like an idiot for asking?

Do some reaseach before you decide to do anything. You can often piece together your own kit that is way cheaper and can better accomplish your individual goals for the car.
As far as the stage 6 kit, you should probably have a pretty good knowledge of the LSJ and some decent mechanical skills.

There is no welding required for a direct bolt-on cat back... they are fairly easy to install.

I would start off with installing a cat-back by yourself. Stage 6, not so much. Guys on here don't really like the canned Intense tunes either. Its much safer to make your own stage kit and have your car custom tuned by a reputable local tuner. Also, if you are looking to go with a much smaller pulley that stock, you will need cooling mods otherwise you will heatsoak like crazy.

very tru but its cheaper with the intense kit but not as realiable.. ive hurd bad things about them... my sugestion is to buy seimens 60's injectors then a smaller pully and belt.. but if u get those injectors u have to get a tune... and most successful tune would be HP TUNE

Now if i do install the injectors, do i need to get a tune right away? is it safe to drive on my setup before i get the tune?

yes.. you cant really run you car with untuned injectors.. even the 42 1/2 lb injectors.. but if your looking to do a pully smaller than 2.8 then u need the 60's... and the tune has given ppl 35+ whp.. i hd just ordered my 60's 2 dys ago.. and hp tuneres is where im going

You need to be tuned for the injectors.

Here may be a good place to start:
60lb. injectors
2.7-2.8 pulley
tune
shorter belt
intake
full exhaust
cooling mods (meth, heat exchanger)
TRACTION MODS are a must. (Poly mounts, torque dampner)
