Questions on Stage 1+2 Installation?

I am Planning on installing stage 1+2 kit on my SS. I am trying to get any feedback from others who have installed the kit themselves and try and get a couple quesitons answered.

1. Are any special tools required for removal of stock Belts, pulleys, etc?
2. Any particular difficulties in installation?
3. Time required for installation?
4. Problem Areas to look for?
5. General hints, tips, recommendations?

I appreciate any response and help, thanks.

I am also going to do this.

There are pretty good write ups for the pulley swap and changing the fuel injectors in the "How To" section of the site.
You will need a pulley puller to do this.

The belt is just like any other belt from what I can tell, and then of course you have to have the dealer flash your ECU.

Good luck!

1. Are any special tools required for removal of stock Belts, pulleys, etc? There is a special pulley puller you will need to remove it. Your local dealership should have one.
2. Any particular difficulties in installation? Its fairly easy, I had a hard time taking the pulley off and had to resort to the press. Also, the belt was tough to put on since it fits so tightly.
3. Time required for installation?2.5hours app.
4. Problem Areas to look for? Cant think of any
5. General hints, tips, recommendations? Drive it like you stole it.

I appreciate any response and help, thanks.
The installation is easy, most of us could do it on our own but its a dealer task for sure. Make sure you get the dealership to give you the "ok" in order to get them to reflash your ecu.

There are three kits: Stage 1, Stage 1 to Stage 2,and Stage 2. Save yourself ALOT of money and just do Stage 2, it includes everything you need.
