Quick HP Tuners question

so a good friend of mine offered to disable my rear O2 sensor with hptuners. I got a zzp header/dp and i'm tired of looking at the CEL. he said it was like 50 bucks for the license or whatever, no big deal. what he wants to know, is what values need to be changed to disable the rear o2? is he just going to set the parameters to 0? do they need to be set to certain settings? he's most familir with LSx series motors, and said he wanted to make sure he was doing the right thing to disable my o2.

also, since my car will be unlocked and we will be free to change anything we want...are there any other adjustments or minor tuning i could do that would make any sort of difference? i only have an AEM airbox mod, zzp header/dp, and gmpp catback....so basically intake and full exhaust. i wont be getting my rebel autowerks stage kit until later this year...but i was just wondering if there's any minor things you all recommend be changed since he'll do it for free.

cool, thanks, i'll check out the codes. he looked online, and told me he could get the license for 50...but i'll see what's up when i get it done.

uhh...i can't find that sticky. i just looked in about half the forums, and there was no sticky with HP tuners configurations.

bump. i can't find the sticky...and i would still like an answer about other possible settings i could change for some benefit.

here....

Eliminating the rear O2 sensor
Engine Diagnostics>DTC's
for the following codes, uncheck the SES option and set the ERROR MODE to 3-No Error Reported

P0036
P0054
P0136-P0141
P0420

I believe thats it, all the ones you want to turn off are labeled HO2S..........sensor 2

Ok, let me go one thing at a time..

The rev-limiter
Engine>Fuel Control>Fuel Cut-off>RPM Limits
change the Fuel Cutoff RPM P/N vs. ECT to your desired rpm
change the Fuel Cutoff RPM vs Gear to your desired rpm
change the Fuel Cutoff RPM 1st Gear vs. Time to your desired rpm

For those without a cat, also turn off COT (set the values to 0)
Engine>Fuel Control>COT Lean Cruise>COT Adder Max
Engine>Fuel Control>COT Lean Cruise>COT Adder Min

Now, I use another couple tricks.

Limited boost in first
Engine>Torque Management>Supercharger>Max Boost 1st Gear

Labels 4000/4250/ 4500/4750/5000/5250/5500/5750/6000/6250/6500-8000 (at 100%)
Max Boost 40/45/55/60/65/75/80/85/90/95/100

Torque Management
Engine>Torque Management>General>Spark Retard vs Torque Reduction
set all values to ZERO
Transmission>Torque Management>Abuse Mode>Trans Abuse Mode Torque Reduction vs. RPM
set all values to ZERO
Transmission>Torque Management>Torque Reduction>Torque Reduction vs Torque vs Shift-Normal
set all values to ZERO
Transmission>Torque Management>Torque Reduction>Torque Reduction vs Torque vs Shift-Performance
set all values to ZERO

DISCLAIMER - I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CHANGES YOU MAKE TO YOUR CAR
these are simply ways to accomplish a goal.
