quick question

Okay so I have 2.8 pulleg on 60#s with zzp midlength header and 2.5 dp. With Megan catback. I have no after market h/e and during the day its been 85-100* out. I live in alabama. My car is pretty quick I pull about 15-16 psi. But on my way home tonight it was around 70* in the country where I live as opposed to 85* in the city. Well I do about. 25 kick to 125 and my car was pulling like a monster. Never felt like that before. What would cause that?

The answer is pretty obvious....

The cooler weather will make the car run better. Cooler air is more dense.

Okay well. Since its almost fall and will be cooler out anyways would I be better off getting a tune or should I get a h/e first,?

Im still on zzp can tune atm. My car throws cel. For running too rich and has a bad idle surge.

tune first, then h/e. you will be amazed how much better it will run with a custom tune.

with a 2.8 pulley you will benefit greatly from some cooling mods also. you are getting heatsoak on those hot summer days, hence the pulling much harder at night.

yea man when its nice and cool out the air is less dense for one, for two ur probly not running ur ac then (idk if u are when its hot) and ur engine jus tlikes cooler air, colder intake temps = more power basically. glad it feels like a beast

Yeah I felt it should make more power with all that. I ran my buddy with stock ss/tc except a muffler and k&n air intake. And he pulls me by a little less than a car til 4th gear then I pull back. Have to race him when it's cool out one night haha. Another question is always ppl fighting over trifecta and hpt. My friend has cables for trifecta and its only 250$ would I be better off with that ir trying to find someone? Not really anyone that tunes sc cars around here that I know of
