quick question about k&n airfilter replacement

Right now I have a spectre air filter that is held on with a clamp. Does the k&n replacement just push on like the stock one since it didn't come with a clamp?

if it is a cone it needs a clamp if it is the "direct replacement" then it does not need a clamp, u can order a direct replacement k&n which does not need a clamp because it is exactly like your stock air filter..and fits directly in the stock airfilter housing...if it is a cone filter and you need a clamp or if if you have the airbox mod it will need a clamp to stay on.

Hope this helps.
