I've been thinking of the Clear Image Auto header or the Hahn. I couldn't tell you the gains though. Clear Image Makes one that is supposed to be for our firing order, so they claim.

He didn't ask for the top 3 overpriced. Best header for the money is ZZP's 1 3/4th mid length with 3" downpipe.

does the ZZP header come by its self, with out a downpipe? or possibly a catless downpipe? i don't mind spending a little extra for the horsepower. thanks again.

He didnt ask for which one is the best bang for the buck.

OK. I want to get a catless downpipe so I was going to get the CA 3" one. So who makes a great shorty header? Or possible a long tube with the downpipe, but catless?

we dont really have dyno sheets to show you for the highest hp header.
i went with zzp header/dp. i noticed a difference. the car pulls hard up top.

zzp offeres a shorty header, and then a header/dp combo, available with, and without cat.

If you get a catless downpipe you will throw a code. So you might want to keep yours incase you need to do emisions or get a cat with your downpipe.

thats true. you wont pass emissions, but the CEL is no problem, tuning can shut it off.

The problem there is most people wont get tuning for everything so his best bet will have to get the code cleared with HPTUNERS.

I'd say the best header is the Weapon R Long Tube. Next would be Vibrant, and then probably CTI.

I live in Florida. I'm pretty sure they don't have emisions down here. The code thrown won't affect performance, right? I'm not sure if i'll be able to get a high-flow cat because i'll be running a nitrous application. Let me know more of what you guys think. I realy appreciate it. Also, where can i see the CID and Weapon R headers?

SLP header sounds nice, and makes pretty good gains. Not available on the market yet.

Only one car has it, the prototype. I'm unsure on availability, but it definately made the exhaust tone of the test car deeper.

i wish i knew when they're going to release it.

does anyone know of a way to get our cars to sound like a srt-4. i just love that deep sound...i know its probably because of the turbo, but still. i just want to get power without sacrificing good sound. i hate ricey sounds with a passion.

The turbo is the most part in their deep tone. If you look up on youtube you will see the turbo cobalt SS and it has a very deep sound.

that was the 2.4l though, right? u tink that the dual tip exhaust that they have play a role aswell? think we could do a similar design. we'll probably have fitment issues.
