I just installed the GMPP Exhaust and when the exhaust heats up the exhaust seems to shift outward about an 1/2 inch or so. Then under hard acceleration there seems to be a rattle from within the exhaust. It does not happen all the time, but I have checked everything and cannot find the source of the rattle. It sounds pretty bad when it happens. Has this happened to anyone, especially the movement of the exhaust?

 

I had a cracked baffle in my stock exhaust... it rattled alot and made a lot of noise.

Replaced under warrenty and went away.

i had the same thing happen. was rattlein then a few days later my CEL came on. i took it in and had a bad catalyst syestem. they replaced it under warrenty and no problems so far.

 

I just picked mine up from the shop last night. It went in in tuesday and they replaced the cat because it was fouled up and creating a lot of backpressure. It rattled like crazy too. Sounds good today though.
