Re-Machining my old stock pully

I was thinking that since my old press-on pully is sitting in the closet collecting dust, I'd take it to work and ream the centre out a thou or two , drill some holes and re-size it to 2.9.
Does anyone have the accurate specs to the ten thou? 2.9____?

Not gonna work, the offset won't be right and I doubt there's enough material to remove to get it down to 2.9"

After reading your post, I had a closer look and found that the Stock pully would easily allow for the modifications required (it's solid billit) and the offset if any, can be applied aswell.
I'm not thinking of this to save a buck! It's something I want to try!
If it works .........you'll know about it. What the ****?

I would just do as said above and get a new pulley. You can get one from Nate for $50 and it is light as ****. I am thinking of replacing my stage 2 pulley with one of Nates just because the weight difference.
