alright a few months ago I blew the motor smoking really bad have oil on the #4 spark plug. but I'm getting ready to pull the motor out and get it checked out, I was going to have block cleaned and magna fluxed to make sure the block does not have any cracks. just so you know I plan on putting in forged pistons in im not going to up grade the rods. I assumed that if you do that you should get the block honed out for the new pistons but a guy was telling me since if it was an inline 4 you don’t have to do that right or wrong I would think you should? Now for the head I wasn't going to do much to it but just get it checked out and maybe just put some better valve springs in if nothing else is wrong. Also this guy was telling me I should get all new bearings and not use what is in there, but the motor has low mileage on it very low for being an 06. more then one source is always better.

never ever put in new pistons without honing the cylinder. and check the bearings for the crank and everything if they look like they have wear at all then change them if they have no marks or anything on them then you dont necessarily have to change them but i recommend changing them if any wear is present
