I'm new to the recall situatuation...
how do i get the recent power steering recall sorted out? do i just take it to the dealership?? any help is appreciated. thanks

From what I understand is that GM will be mailing out a notice of the recall and the solution to you. This will be similar to the LSJ cat issues that they addressed by mailing out a notice saying that the warranty will be extended on this part as well as free replacement of the part if problems occur.

No cat issues for me thus far but when my letter comes for the steering, my cobalts going to have that crap fixed. My power-steering has been going in and out for some time now. When I would take it to the stealership, they would say they couldn't find anything wrong.
