I have a 2006 ss/sc and i am getting 80 kPa boost (12 psi). I see that members are talking about a 7000 rpm red line. I had my car out today and I do not get a 7000 rpm red line. I bought this car about 30 days ago and it was upgraded lastyear 04/17/2006.

My question is this. Is there a new reflash for the PCM that gives you the 7000 rpm red line and if there is can I take it back to the dealer and have it reflashed and would there be a fee for this if they have upgraded.

My upgrades are in my signature.

I appolagize if this has been answered elseware but I could not find it.

If you have the gmpp stage 2 you should have a 7k rpm redline. if you dont that means you have the wrong tune flashed on the car, get it checked into

 

In what gears should I see 7000 rpm. I am thinking maybe I did not push the car hard enough.

 

I am going to take it out again today and give it a good run.
