Removing Catalytic Converter

Alright so I just picked up a new exhaust, and I'm looking to get a new header and down-pipe. But there is so much information about deleting the cat or keeping it that I'm getting a little confused so I am asking for your input. Yes I know removing it is illegal, so who has had problems with their local PD and what have they said to you about it. How will it sound if I get rid of the cat? I don't want the raspy, fart can, pissed off bees sound. Thanks

if you remove the cat throw some resonators ( 1 or 2 depending on how quiet you want it) into the exhaust and call it a day.

I have no cat and no rasp with my hahn catback. It really depands on your catback and what combo of muffler and resonator you have.

Yea, I'm getting the hahn catback, do you have any sound clips? And what is your complete set-up?

My setup is vibrant header and catless downpipe to hahn catback. Ill throw up some vids in a minute, let me find them quick

Here is a video of me just reving a bit

And here is me on the 2-step. At first the camera is too close but when he backs up it sounds nice

No. Catless make a little more horsepower, but sometimes it isn't worth it because of the sound... But then you could add some resonators.
