Figured I would start my own thread instead of hijacking other peoples exhaust thread. No this ain't another ''which catback is best'' thread. Long story short I don't have money to buy a catback at the moment, eventually I'd like to get one but in the mean time I though about replacing my stock LSJ muffler and have it welded at my local exhaust shop. The company I work for sells Magnaflow mufflers and I could get one at a very cheap price. I have been told that the stock exhaust line for the LSJ was 2.25" OD. And I know somebody suggested a 2.5" inlet but we only carry 2.25" inlet. Anyway I don't think that would matter much for the shop I am bringing the car to.
TL: DR
Which one should I get?
MF14821 14" x 6" x 6" - in: 2.25" - out: 4"
MF14827 14" x 5" x 8" - in: 2.25" - out: 4"
Any suggestions?

The stock exhaust is all different sizes, but the portion that leads to the muffler inlet is 2.25" o.d.
I was the one that suggested a 2.5" inlet muffler so you can slip the existing 2.25" o.d. pipe inside of it, and weld it on.
You can still but the ends of the stock 2.25" piping to a 2.25" muffler inlet, and weld it.
