I've never had a problem running a simple copper plug.
For $8, why listen to stories and try them for yourself.

.035 is a good starting point for your mods.

Your plugs looking the way they do atm is a good indication as why you are running so rich.
It's like I mentioned in a previous post. Check the coil packs if new plugs do not solve it.

It's intermittent, and only happening after repeated pulls.

I can tell my plugs are ready to be changed. They like to misfire in high RPM

Ive ran rich a lot this winter because of the MAF getting wet.

Unless op, just to clarify... Are you saying your cruising or idling and go from around 14.7 too 10.00, and back to 14.7
Or your going wot, hitting 11.00 then after a couple pulls pegging 10.00 afr during wot?

I was meaning to see if his wideband was going wacko. Mine did just recently

OK update, I changed in plugs autolite 3322 gapped at .034, I just did a bunch of pulls(5 or 6) and even race and beat a modded mustang gt 4.6L(he looked shocked bahaha) and never went full rich, stayed around 10.9 to 11.0. However I had my interceptor up and watching the misfire option that list 8 cylinders and it was showing a lil miss fire(1 to 2) in all of them(all 8 not just 4) during normal driving(cruising) so im not sure whats up with that. Cylinder 8 was even showing 16 misfire randomly so any advice would be great 100% meth! but its seems u have fined my rich issue atleast, im data log in the morning and ill let you know if it is still holding up strong.

ltft is not disabled, not sure what disabling them does if u would like to explain. I didnt watch the fuel trims during the pulls but I can do that later what one do I need to watch?

Iv read that this happens to most cars, I even had my friend check his interceptor gauge and hes does the same thing, it seems to be common thing I mean I dont have 8 cylinders so how can I have misfire on them. LOL

Anyone that has a cobalt and a interceptor go to the misfire screen where it shows the 8 cylinders and just cruse around for a lil bit and see if u get random misfire on all 8 of them.
