2 days ago my car was running just fine and the AFR was at 11.7-12.1 at WOT in 2nd and 3rd gear...but yesterday and today the AFR is at 12.5-13.0!!!!


i got off the throttle immediately when i saw that

what could change it like this??

 

your car is running lean because it has joined the green movement and wants to reduce the amount of fossil fuels it consumes

it did it last night so i thought it was just a one time thing..but i did a pull on the way to school and the same thing

 

Take out your wideband and it will go away I bet...

how warm was it outside during these pulls?

 

pull out your wideband and clean it with some brake/parts cleaner and try again. if it runs lean again look at your spark plugs and see if any specific cylinder is running lean, an injector may have laid down on you, or lastly look at the sesnor for the wideband going bad.

best thing to do is clean the wideband and check out the spark plugs before doing anything else

the wideband is a month old..i dont see how it could be that

 

hmm warm enough to not affect afr. Like self said check and clean your wideband. Has the wideband been slow lately? Like it doesnt switch back and forth and jump around as much under normal driving?

 

nah its the AEM its been acting normal

 

get your tune checked out. your LTFT's are probably all over the place

 

i prolly should have added but my tuner data logged my tune 3 days before today..but my AFR were where hey needed to be so he didnt touch my WOT..he just messed with some of the normal driving

 

check plugs. wideband, tune. maf. everything to be on a safe note and know u have checked everything lol

nah it was just data logged and checked up on...WOT has already been tuned lol

 

that sucks...

 

Thats why Im glad I got hptuners to deal with this **** when it arises. Im guessing the fuel trims are causing it. Isnt the blend of gas changing to the good stuff right now? Just talk to your tuner and get it logged some more. There isnt much we can do for you. Good luck though. I know the feeling of **** just getting to run right and then not.
