running wierd

Hey guys I have a question, I wrecked my car this past winter putting it in a ditch and I got it out I drove it and next thing I know its at 280 degrees and says low coolant. I drove it to work about 30 min away needless to say put a new radiator in it and bent my heat exchanger back and it stared using coolant bad and when I start it, it runs rough then its fine. I thought it might be head gasket but its been 5 months and it isn't as bad after I flushed it.. any ideas??? Help! Lol
